Being a lifetime New Yorker and knowing how many idiot liberals live in this city, I have my doubts that Turner can pull this off. But, if he does, it would be like a nuclear explosion going off within the Democrat Party if a Republican wins a seat in congress from a very blue district.

Two days before the special election in New York’s 9th Congressional District, yet another poll confirms that Bob Turner, the Republican, holds an improbable lead in the heavily Democratic district.
A Public Policy Polling poll released Sunday night found Turner leading his Democratic opponent, David Weprin, by a 47–41 margin. A Siena poll released last week found Turner leading by the same split, 50 to 44 percent.

And although nobody is pointing this out, if Turner wins it won’t only be a reflection of Obama’s sinking presidency, it could be a protest vote to punish Democrats for passing Same Sex marriage.
