Prelude to Obama landslide defeat: Republican Bob Turner wins Anthony Weiner’s old seat in New York, US News, News , Politics

A nuclear bomb has gone off within the ranks of the Democrat Party from the rocky coast of Maine to the sunny shores of California.

In the bluest of states, New York, and in a congressional seat once held by Anthony Weiner and Chuck “Press Conference” Schumer, Republican businessman Bob Turner defeat Democrat David Weprin in what can only be seen as a screaming repudiation, slap in the face because you suck-referendum on the failing presidency of Barack Hussein Obama!

Dems in their attacks ads called Turner, Tea Party Turner, and the voters of Queens and Brooklyn scoffed and voted the GOPer into office in a seat that hasn’t been held by a Republican since the 1920s.
No doubt Democrats across the country are scared into a cold sweat knowing that no Democrat seat is safe, anywhere in the United States. People across the country “get it” and know that Barack Obama is an immense media created Liberal fantasy that has driven this country into the ground with his ultra Leftist policies that are killing jobs and the reputation of the United States.

First it was Republican Scott Brown snatched Ted Kennedy’s seat in Massachusetts. Now Turners takes over Weiner’s seat in congress. And in 2012, a Republican will rise and bring back sanity and competence to the White House.

The Hill

Republican Bob Turner won former Rep. Anthony Weiner's (D-N.Y.) House seat on Tuesday, a bad sign for President Obama and down-ticket Democrats heading into next year’s election.

Turner was leading Democrat David Weprin by 54 percent to 46 percent with 81 percent of precincts reporting right before midnight eastern time. The Associated Press has called the race.

Democrats have held Weiner’s district for close to a century, and it was Sen. Charles Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) seat before he ran for the Senate. Obama will shoulder some blame for the loss, which comes at a pivotal time for the president as he pushes Congress to pass a jobs bill that will likely be a major part of his reelection campaign.

National Republican Congressional Campaign Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) put out a statement immediately after the race was called, blaming Obama for the loss.
