In response to Paul Krugman’s The Years of Shame referring 9/11, US News, News , Politics

Paul Krugman, the Yoda of the Left, who pontificates on all things Liberal and wrong, wrote this in New York Times today.

“What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful.
The atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.”

Either Paul Krugman has a very faulty memory or he’s thinking of changing careers to become a revisionist historian.

After the attacks on 9/11 the country did come together. Recruiting rates in all branches of the military when up because brave young men and woman wanted to serve and get into the fight to defend the country. President Bush’s approval rating shot up into the mid 90s. And both political parties were parroting the same phrase, “We’re no longer Democrats or Republicans but Americans!”

That’s what happened, Paul.

But, a funny thing also happened after all that. The Democrat Party and their willing whores in the media chose to undermine every step President Bush took to defend this country:

*Democrats were quick to criticize the Patriot Act as an invasion of privacy.

*After two weeks in Afghanistan, those Sons-of Bitches in the media were quick to throw out the word “quagmire” every chance they could.

*Even though every intelligence agency from different countered around the world said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, those Sons-of-Bitches in the Democrat Party and their dictation takes in the media like Paul Krugman started spreading a vicious falsehood that George W. Bush lied about the whole thing-“Bush lied people died!”

It was the Democrats aim to act as spoilers in the War on Terror to undermine how the country did come together as a means to regain power.

They were the Sons-of-Bitches (Democrat Party) who politicized the war. Maybe Paul Krugman has also forgotten that we used to have a tradition that said politics stopped at the water’s edge. And in times of war against a foreign enemy both Republicans and Democrats spoke with one voice in defense of the nation. But, Democrats shattered that tradition and that’s where the true shame lies.

Paul Krugman is the same individual that put the blame on Sarah Palin for the Gabby Giffords shooting. With a track record like that and the continued nonsense that comes out of Paul Krugman’s mouth, how can any person with a modicum of intelligence take Krugman seriously about anything? I wouldn’t trust the guy if he told me water was wet.
