Besides Tavis Smiley being dumb as a rock, he’s serves a useful purpose how liberals manufacture their own reality. A simple rule of thumb to determine whether something is a lie is to know what is the truth. But, that tenement never stops Liberals from making false accusations that Bush lied about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction.

A skirmish broke out on Morning Joe today as PBS host Tavis Smiley claimed President George W. Bush "lied" the USA into the war in Iraq. Joe Scarborough and--surprisingly--Jon Meacham forcefully refuted Smiley's slur.
Scarborough unwittingly provoked the incident when, commenting on yesterday's 9-11 observances, he called for a Kumbaya moment in which Americans would put aside politics and thank presidents Bush and Obama for keeping the country safe. That set Smiley off: "the reality is that one of those guys lied to the American people"--and the fight was on. View video after the jump.
Here’s the dirty little secret. Liberals know they’re making a false charge. The reason they continue making it is to persuade their own undereducated and ill-informed base. “Bush lied, people died” is pretty simple to understand and remember for the products of failing public schools. And that’s some truth for your ass!
